The Schwarma Company is an iconic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant, nestled in the heart of the restaurant district of Norwood, Johannesburg. It is one of Norwood's most consistently popular places to dine.

If you haven't visited us recently, you may be pleased to know we've expanded the restaurant with an upstairs sports bar and an open patio. Come and watch the rugby, or lounge on the patio deck with your friends under the open sky.

The restaurant is fully licensed, with good wines and local and imported beers.

Our daily staples

Beef, chicken and lamb schwarmas, in a pita or a laffa, with haloumi and falafel for vegetarians. Chicken livers, kebabs, lamb chops, burgers, steaks and ribs. A salad bar full of fresh salads, pickles and dips, and starters like humus, tachina and tsatziki.

And for something sweet, halva and baklava, much of it on display as you walk in.
